Models Connect industry night; Night of Glamour 2nd edition turns Night of Queens



Models Connect industry night tagged NIGHT OF GLAMOUR has finally marked it 2nd edition against all odds. The Maiden edition of the event was held on the 25th of July 2014 at Dcove suites, Surulere, Lagos.  Meanwhile, the 2nd edition could be described as an achieved consistency following suspense in August. Undeterred, the organizers and the host, Treeze forged ahead to make it a reality in the month of September, 26th being the last Friday. 

The event started with photo shoot, red carpet and introduction of guests. The theme; Becoming a Role-Model could be said to have been perfectly in line with the caliber of people who honored the event. It recorded a high level of glamour as the name implies with the presence of pageant brand ambassadors/ Beauty queens; Miss Millennium 2014, Oge and Queen of Middle belt 2014, Angela Paul, alongside their managers, TkbSexy and princess Edith Duru who are both industry professionals. With this, it seems like the upcoming models had enough to tap from as opportunities to connect were present.  In line with some of the event objectives; also in attendant was former MTV base OAP, Autotainment TV host, Goldfinger productions, Imperial agency, Media reporters and other opportunity providers. 

In a remark, Queen of Middle belt shed light on how she was able to hold on to two crowns within two years being Miss Millennium 2013. She being described as one of the most humble beauty pageant queens emphasized on humility as an area of strength which a lot of people regards as weakness. She also talked about the fear of God and commitment. Still on the red carpet, her manager passed info on the forthcoming Nigeria Fashion Week (NFW).

Night of Glamour September/ 2nd edition introduced a special birthday After-Party for September born models, celebs and friends with Nollywood actress, RolexT as the chief-Celebrant.
The multitalented Voice actor and Hype man, Media PR, Host; Night of Glamour, Treeze took his guests by surprise, showing his artistic side. He performed his latest sound track titled “as She Dey Lyk’am”, meaning how she likes it. Joining him on stage was a model and video vixen, Sophia Osike. However, he introduced another artist, Digidor to wrap up musical performance for the night.

 After a closing remark, some of the special quests were ushered to a provided hospitality at Benestar Suites, 23 Tafawa Belewa Street, Surulere, with a warm reception. It eventually became a courtesy visit as everyone present was thrilled by the presence of the beauty queen at the early hours of Saturday, 27th. One of the dignitaries present is a local government chairman from Imo state who happened to be at the premises with her immediate family. This also includes the CEO of the Benestar suites and staffs, Night of Glamour crew, Treeze, Goldfinger productions, the beauty queen and her entourage. It was indeed a night of glamour to a glowing morning.
