It was a fulfilling day for the Nigerian President's daughter; Elizabet as she weds her hearttrob, Prince Godswill Edward on the 5th of April 2014. The event took place not in Abuja, not in Dubai, but in Otueke, Bayelsa state, the home town of the president and the bride. In attendance were dignitaries from federal and state levels; includes Prince Godswill's state governor, Liyel Moke. The Cross-river state governor advocated for more inter-state marriages as a bridge to extend good fortunes to states, communities and villages in the country. Vice president, Namadi Sambo who chaired the occasion encouraged Nigerian youths to be tolerant, friendly and obedient to marriage institution. The president in his usual humble manner expressed what he described as painful joy and his already expectation of becoming a grand father. He urged young couples to learn to enjoy and endure through marriage while loving each other selflessly. Congratulations we say!
