Call it self motivated or what have you. It seems like the
era of music producers turning video directors.
It might have started with Terry G who is a producer, artists and now a
video director. Sam Cleff who is also a hit making producer followed that path
by doubling as an artist. In recent time, he (Sam Cleff) released a new single
with the video directed by him. Veedee may not have produced many hit songs
like the above mentioned producers, but will be remembered for Wizkid’s holla
at your boi. Yes he was behind it as was credited by Wizzy at the beginning of
the song. Veedee had released two singles already; Party like Oyibo and Zuzu. Here
comes the third one which he has just shot a video, directed by himself. He
featured Terry da Rap man and AQ in the hip hop song titled Nseri. With the
kind of fee being charged by A-list music video directors these days, who wouldn’t
do it by himself if he can? Watch out as Nseri audio and video hit the air
waves soon.
