Obviously
he Ruggedman's management team seems ineffective. Could it be that he
no longer need the service of one or he just chose to run the? Following
his recent experience in Abuja during one MBGA event which he was
invited to perform with a promise of
honorarium of some amount by one Mr Ejiro, supposedly one of
the organizers who ended up in war or words with him, Ruggedy baba has warned
unsuspecting artists, ushers and models who may be lured by the same organizer
in the future to be ware. Narrating what went down, it was obvious that the
rugged one fell for whatever trick that got him to Abuja. It could be based on
relationship or his eagerness to get on stage, but whichever it is; someone
might have taken advantage of his so called not being an A-list artist. However,
let it not be forgotten that he, Rugged man is a legendary new age Nigerian hip
hop artist, and should be accorded such respect. Hopefully he remembered that himself.
In the MBGA organizer’s
quest to defend himself, he reminded everyone that 9ice was Ruggedman's boy.
That, he did like a child who is looking for what to say to get back at
someone. But the truth is that, he just mentioned one of Ruggeman's achievements
which are; changing the game of rap, making hits and helping a brother climb
even higher. Interesting in the feud, the both parties’ side of the story was
made available as at press time; hence our conclusion on what is fact and
fallacy. This is neither Ruggedman's view nor Ejiro's, this is the general
belief on what the fact possibly is. The arrangement was shady and definitely a
discouraging one for any artist, established or upcoming. It should be avoided
in the future to avoid being stranded as an up comer or embarrassed as an
artist with reputation.
