Nigeria @ 53: Stella Damasus lambasts sycophants or Nigeria?

When the issue of child marriage was in discussion within the senate, she made her major debut in political
commentary. She was on it like she was on a movie set and was hailed by different people who shared
the video clip of her comment on the social media. Stella Damasus seems to have been nursing a follow
up expression of her political displeasure, or rather her opinion. She how ever chose the date that is
set aside to celebrate Nigeria's independent anniversary. It is like a child who has decided to tell her
father that he should be ashamed celebrating his birthday because of some things she feels her father should
have achieved. One may ask, how old is Stella? Is all well in your personal life? May be yes, may be no.
How ever, she should tread with caution, and possibly join a political party since she is that eager to make a
change. Nigeria might have expected a well wish and prayer from one of his/her child on her birthday
and not judgmental ranting. All may not be well, and point of correction, no one is pretending that all is well,
but is this dramatic confrontation the best approach? Again, may be yes, may be no.
