The musical relationship between the Mavin boss, Don Jazzy and the Mavin 1st lady, Tiwa Savage no doubt has started way back before the break of Mo'hits records. It came to public view when Tiwa was featured in Dr. Sid's over the moon video. They subsequently recorded a duet, without my heart which has resurfaced on the airwaves with a beautiful video. Now that Tiwa has dropped her first official debut album, titled once upon a time, there comes another song involving she and the Don, another love song. There’s something more interesting about the song, not just the lyrics, the sound or the title, but how they perform it on stage. Those at the recent conclude Star Trek at the national stadium Surulere can testify to the awesome chemistry Tiwa shared on stage with Don jazzy while performing Eminado. Yes, that’s the title of the song which I could not help but fall in love with. They created much sensation on it as they crowd went wild. Indeed, the Don commands so much respect from his fans with his simple and humble personality.
His singing prowess is a
perfect blend with his beat kicks, and with Tiwa, it definitely got better. One
thing that was obvious while they performed was how proud Tiwa seemed having
Don Jazzy on stage. One will say that her manager/Fiancé, T.Billz was fast to
have put a ring on her finger. Tiwa would not have resisted what seems like a
possible appetizing proposal from Don jazzy if it has come before that of
T.Billz.
